Hosokawa Micron Awarded Nouryon Supplier of the Year
Hosokawa Micron B.V. was recognised as a top global sourcing partner by Nouryon at its annual 2022 Supplier of the Year Awards event held in Rome. The awards recognise outstanding global suppliers who have distinguished themselves by contributing to Nouryon's leading position in specialty chemicals and exceeding expectations.
Suppliers are identified and evaluated based on strategic spend, shared commitment to innovation and sustainability, overall supplier performance and actions taken to improve Nouryon's competitiveness. Winners were recognised for outstanding performance in three categories: Innovation, Reliability and Sustainability.
Hosokawa Micron B.V. received an award in the Innovation category for demonstrating creative and alternative solutions to a process or technology and their transformative potential to add value to Nouryon. Hosokawa Micron B.V. has supplied a comprehensive turnkey processing installation for the production of biodegradable detergent ingredients to a Nouryon site in the Netherlands.
Managing Director Christophe Krug and Sales & Marketing Manager Berthram Mak accepted the award on behalf of Hosokawa at the ceremony in Rome. They were congratulated by Nouryon Chairman and CEO, Charlie Shaver, who noted that suppliers are vital to Nouryon's success.
Celebrating 100 Years of Innovation
Hosokawa Micron B.V. is proud to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Founded in Haarlem in 1923 by Mr. J.E. Nauta as NAUTAMIX, the company has come a long way since then. In 1982, the company was acquired by the Japanese Hosokawa Micron Corporation and has grown to include Machinefabriek VRIECO in Zelhem, ISEM in Doetinchem and SCHUGI in Lelystad. The company moved to its current premises in Doetinchem in 1993. Managing Director Christophe Krug: "We look forward to providing innovative solutions and exceptional service for many years to come."
