Hosokawa Micron offers powder processing technologies well-suited for producing Soil Conditioners or Fertilizers, specifically for the blending of TriCalcium Phosphate (TCP) or DiCalcium Phosphate (DCP) with phosphoric acid. The desired product quality depends on the ratio of TCP or DCP to phosphoric acid, making it a essential consideration for this production process.
The Flexomix agglomeration system is ideal for precisely mixing TCP or DCP with phosphoric acid at the correct ratio. The product processed in the Flexomix is reactive and wet, requiring sufficient dwell time for complete reaction. Following the reaction, a fluid bed dryer is recommended to remove excess water and dry the product. This means you can optimize the conversion ratio for maximum product value.
The end result is free-flowing agglomerates which are easy to handle during further processing, or ideal for selling straight to the consumer.
